Yesterday was the 46th anniversary of the 9.2 magnitude earthquake that decimated Anchorage, Kodiak, the peninsula, and much of South East. The 4th Avenue theatre survived that quake and still stands in downtown Anchorage as a landmark and miracle. Above, the history lesson; below, the post intended for 27 March 2010.
